Ostranders Executive Director, 2017-Present
Elizabeth Perkins is the Director of Strategy and Communications for the Society for Classical Learning (SCL). Before joining SCL, she specialized in enrollment marketing for K–12 independent schools with Tassel Marketing Agency as well as serving as Director of Enrollment & Outreach at Westminster Academy in Memphis, Tennessee. She began her career as the Production Stage Manager at Theatre Memphis. In the twenty years since, she has been involved in over 100 productions in Memphis, both on and off stage. Elizabeth also serves as a judge for the High School Musical Theatre Awards and routinely leads workshops for those interested in stage management. Elizabeth served as the Assistant Program Director for the Ostrander Awards from 2014-2017, stepping up to the role of Director as Lindsey Roberts "retired."
Prior to joining Westminster in 2014, she served as adjunct faculty in the Fogelman College of Business and Economics at the University of Memphis; teaching courses in organizational strategy, communications, and management. In her "previous life" (AKA, before children!), Elizabeth was the Internal Communications Leader for the Capital Aviation Services division of General Electric. She holds a BA in political science from the University of Memphis and an MBA from Union University.
